Jane is a coward. He has always been a coward. When something explodes, he runs away - when there's danger, he turns the other direction, if possible. Some of the only times he has risked his life are for Lisbon or Red John. He doesn't run for just anything or anyone. He doesn't jump over things for just anything. And he especially doesn't tell just anyone he loves them. He doesn't trust just anyone.
He jumped over the fence for Lisbon.
He sprained his ankle for Lisbon.
He loves Lisbon.
He trusts Lisbon.
THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT JUST HAPPENED OVER NIGHT. It happened over years of working together and growing closer. THEIR CHEMISTRY EXPLODES OUT OF THE SCREEN.
