I LOVE JISBON

Seriously, I love Jisbon with a burning passion that no one will ever understand. Except maybe #Destiel and #Delena shippers.
Anyway.
I got home from work at around midnight, climbed into bed, and was like: "I need to watch Jane and Lisbon kiss. It has been far too long!" (that last part was said with an accent)
And so I did. I watched the Jisbon kiss. Over and over again for ten minutes.

IT'S THE BEST!
I also realized that my phone knows the word 'Jisbon,' as I consistently use it.
It also knows that I usually type 'Jane and Lisbon' together, just like that. As soon as I put 'Jane and' in, it brings up 'Lisbon' without my even needing to touch the L.
Um, PERFECTION.
That's all I got.
Imma go watch them kiss some more.

Lisbon's Nightmare

Can we just talk about this for a second?

Can we discuss HER FACE and the significance of the fact that Jane is face-down?

Um, NO.

This nightmare was SO SYMBOLIC and so painful.
A) Her face.
She's about to lose it when she sees Jane. She sees her other team members and kind of holds it together, but she sees Jane and her face just... looses it. She's about to start crying. The pain in her eyes...
B) Jane is facedown.
The other team members are all face-up. You can see the life drained from their eyes. The fact that Jane is face-down is incredibly symbolic. She can't even handle the idea that Red John has taken Jane out, that he's been cut up like the other victims. She can't even imagine in her dream that Jane is gone, disposed of by Red John.

Season 7 Spoilers!

I can't stop freaking thinking about season 7. I can't. I just can't.
They're going to have sex.
They're going to sleep together. (I mean actually sleep! THE CUTE.)
They're going to kiss. Hopefully a lot.
They're going to have those looks. The 'I love you' looks. You know the one!
THEY'RE GOING TO SAY 'I LOVE YOU.'
They're going to be a couple.
They're gonna go on DATES.
And HOLD HANDS.
And be together. ALL THE TIME.
And get distracted by each other at crime scenes! On the case!

The spoilers of the show point out to ongoing romance between Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon. Fans also ponder as to how their newfound love would affect the cases they solve together. It is being reported that the two could face problems while solving the cases with their hearts bound together.

While the final moments of the season definitely made watching the show worthy it is the upcoming season that has people excited to watch Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon do more than just work together. Now the chance for a romance can build with a look to see if the individuals are really compatible (or if the fans just want them to be.) The build up to the moment on the season finale has raised expectations for the potential couple and there are questions to be answered in the upcoming season.

The spoilers rumored so far for season seven include the continued relationship between the two characters. Of course everyone expects sparks will fly, but there is also the question of if the romantic gestures might mess up the cases they solve. The two crime fighters work really well together, but if they are distracted, it might offer up some interesting problems.

I mean, hello! I've been waiting for this for six years. THEY have been building up to this for twelve years. There's too much to comprehend. Too much for my little heart to take, swelling with happiness. I can't get the stupid giddy smile off my face.

Mental for The Mentalist

The night of the finale, I stayed up until two rewatching the kiss and the 'I love you' scenes over and over again.
I spent the next two nights doing the same thing.
And the rest of the week.
I have spent this last week rewatching every episode of The Mentalist from Season 1 to Season 6.
BUILDING UP TO THE KISS SO I CAN APPRECIATE IT FURTHER.
I have also spent every night making several posts on here about Jisbon.
I have neglected all homework and all cleaning in the process. My room? A mess.
I have put off food until my stomach reminds me that it needs to be fed.
The only reason I paused was to rewind a Jisbon moment. And to pee.
I think I'm mental.

Sometimes - all the time - my mind wanders toward season 7, five months away.
FIVE MONTHS.

I think about what is going to go down in season 7. Jisbon wise, obviously.

Dear Jisbon...

Dear Jisbon,
I have been shipping you since season one - you know, when Jane gave Lisbon a pony for her birthday, or when he was blind for two days (roughly), and he touched her face? "I just want to know what your face feels like when you're smiling."
Every time I see a Jisbon moment, I stop and replay it several times to appreciate it, because I now know what it's leading up to. All those days spent working cases, all those hours spent working together, all the moments they learned to appreciate each other's company, every single stinking second they look at each other or smile at each other, every time they share a laugh - every time they save the other's life. Especially the little moments: the smiles, the mutual agreements, simply the company. Even the arguments forced them to grow closer as they resolved whatever issues they had, because they didn't have a choice. By being forced to work together for so long, they learned to appreciate the other person fully. They came to enjoy the other person. They became friends, family, partners and best friends - not by choice, at first, but it grew to be such a beautiful relationship. In the end, one cannot live without the other.
So yeah - I die a little inside every time there's a Jisbon moment. How can I not when I so fully appreciate the relationship these two beautiful people share?!
Thank you, Jisbon, for continuing to build until you became canon.
Waiting for my OTP fulfilment is one of the harder trials of my fangirl existence.
